What a great way to spend a spring day!  Meet our new lambs, chicks, cows, horse, and other critters, and make real wool felt. Look for tadpoles in the pond. All ages welcome, with Mom’s help for the little ones. Feltmaking is an ancient technique for making fabric with sheep’s wool, soap and water. The kids come home cleaner than they arrived!

FOREVER FELT FLOWERS

Create a colorful bouquet of felt flowers that never need watering! We’ll learn two basic felt-making techniques you can use for other felt projects at home.

$15 per participating child.

FELTED PHOTO ALBUM

Now this is what I call a Brag Book! We’ll make a wet-felted cover for a mini-photo album, with needle-felted design accents. 

$15 per participating child.

FELTED TREASURE POUCH

The kids will magically transform a fluffy pile of colored wool into an adorable little bag in all their favorite colors.

FAMILY FELTED WALL HANGING
Fri. April 13, 2007
10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Work together to create a handmade family heirloom from a colorful palette of wool.  Even the youngest child can choose colors and shapes; older kids might take a leading role in the design, and Mom--it’s all hands on deck for the final fulling! Your family will leave with a ready-to-hang masterpiece approximately 18”x12”.  Bring a lunch.

$25 per family (per wall hanging)
