Beyond Sheep The sheep share the farm with cattle, pigs, chickens, turkeys, and a horse. Each day we will spotlight one species of livestock, and the kids will get a true picture of life on a diversified family farm.

WHY WE LOVE SHEEP CAMP
We are not a big, commercialized camp facility. We are a farming family who feels lucky to be raising our kids on a farm, and welcomes the chance to give others a taste of the farming lifestyle-- if only for a week. Who knows—if the next generation grows up with a yearning for open land, perhaps more farmland will be saved from developers. Camp Director Caroline Owens (AKA Mom) is a former Vocational Agriculture teacher who loves turning the farm into a classroom during summer camp. And so, we invite small groups of children into our lives to share our love of the land, enjoy good old-fashioned non-electronic fun, and learn by doing. We limit the group size to 12, to keep things personal and fun.
